The latest release from Mainframe Recordings will be ‘Massacre’/'Vertigo’, from Davidp and Encode.
The two tracks are set to contine the trend of Mainframe’s speaker-shaking, dancefloor-infecting drum & bass, and no doubt the labe will be looking to add to the successes of 2011. The release continues the label’s ethos of cutting-edge drum & bass, bringing quality to the fore.
‘Massacre’ leads with Eastern effects, matched to a haunting female vocal. Later, pain-inducing beats and riffs mean that this one is not for the faint hearted. This one will set dancefloors a-flame.
‘Vertigo’ meanwhile, is slightly more of a grower, with a building bass and drum attack topped with a meaty melody. Get your bassface and your strut on for both of these!
