Alexander McQueen will not be hosting an autumn/winter 2013-14 catwalk show this season! Instead the band will be opting for a more intimate presentation. Creative director Sarah Burton, who is currently heavily pregnant with twins, will be on maturity leave during Paris Fashion Week and stay put in her hometown of London.
As a result McQueen will be hosting a small private presentation for 100 editors at a central Paris location, giving them a sneak peak at the latest collection, before scheduling commercial bookings for later in the evening. “[Burton] does have plans to reclaim McQueen’s traditional Paris Fashion Week evening show slot for spring/summer 2014″ a spokesperson for the label confirmed.
