Having been the face of US label Ann Taylor since spring 2012, Kate Hudson has now teamed up with the brand’s creative director, Lisa Axelson, to design a capsule range for summer 2013. The collection is inspired by Kate’s red carpet appearances but has been adapted for everyday occasions.
“Working with Ann Taylor has been a great creative experience, and there is a really wonderful connection.” The Almost Famous actress told Women’s Wear Daily. “Ann Taylor is great at creating iconic wardrobe staples and updating them season after season. I love that Lisa Axelson is designing clothes for real women.”
With the brand being tight lipped about the upcoming collection, little has been revealed about the pieces! We will have to wait until May to be able to judge Hudson’s designer talent.
