It looks as though Rihanna has been busy recently, as it seems like only yesterday we were watching ’We Found Love‘ (featuring Calvin Harris) for the first time. However, she is back again with her latest video for her next single ‘You Da One’.
Despite the tragically named single being actually quite catchy, the video itself is somewhat mundane, this is of course the case when comparing it to some of her previous music videos like the raunchy ‘S&M’ (although in the video for ‘You Da One’ she does tirelessly grab her groin MJ style).
However, the video itself sees the talented and beautiful RiRi (as she is probably known to pals) looking every bit as sexy as she always does, yet if we are being honest, we have grown accustomed to her bad girl style and somewhat risky behaviour. Overall we feel that this video is an arguably less stylish recreation of the ‘Rude Boy‘ video and her costume reference to Stanley Kubrick’s cult classic ‘A Clockwork Orange’ doesn’t do the video any favours. Arguably the most exciting part of the video is that RiRi is sporting a blonde bob which looks awesome but on the down side (again) she does sport a pair of pleather dungarees.Enough said.
