2011 has been a massive year for Metronomy. With their ‘English Riviera’ album shooting them into the public eye, this year has seen them nominated for a Mercury Prize and playing a whole host of this summers festivals. This month we were lucky enough for Metronomy to return to ‘The English Riviera’, aka Torbay (Hit The Floor’s home town), for a special show. We caught up with the band for a chat about what they really think about ‘The Bay’, chat about the dilemma’s of getting a Mercury through customs and find out about their upcoming single ‘Everything Goes My Way’, released October 17th.
