HTF have decided to round up our top acts to look out for in 2012 and here’s one of our favourite up and coming artists.

Dubstep has been occupying  both above and below the ground (so to speak) for the last 4 years and has recently become the most commercialised chopped up , chucked out and watered down of genres. Dubstep has frankly given birth to some of the most irritating music of 2011 (although there are still a handful of admirable heavyweights in the game) so we went in search of something new.

Whilst on our journey we discovered what appears to be a reincarnation of a past reverberation, that has now taken its place in the underground and fans of Electronic music (that have taste) appear to have left what is mainstream Dubstep to the teens, and bought back the sound of House (which has arguably been drowned out by the constant need to add a wabb and wobble in recent years). Well we have tracked down an artist who we believe is going to be big in 2012, and we believe this artist has been contributing greatly to the electronic movement by making his own unique music. His name is Julio Bashmore.

Bashmore is a Bristolian based producer and although it is hard to narrow him down to the restrictions of a particular genre, he is probably best described as a reincarnation and infusion of Garage meets House. So what is the big deal? Well besides being one of the many artists taking House music off the backburner and reintroducing it to a new generation, Bashmore’s unique production of sound has the ability to make you feel both serene and stimulated at the same time. In other words, putting the thesaurus aside, he’s pretty bloody good and we predict his fan base will probably double if not triple in the next year .So we have selected HTF’s favourite Bashmore track and we want you to have a listen.
