On The Impossible Past

This comes off the back of two other performances, one in Germany at Monsterbash and another in Belgium at Groezrock festival. The band are set to release their first album ‘On The Impossible Past’ under new label Epitaph records, which is released on February 20th. The Menzingers have previously toured with the likes of Against Me!, The Gaslight Anthem and have more recently played shows with Rise Against and A Day To Remember.

The band have been going from strength to strength since 2006 and this album will be their third, following ‘A Lesson In Abuse Of Information Technology’ from 2007 and  ’Chamberlain Waits’ from 2010.

The album was recorded at Atlas studios in Chicago with collaborators Matt Allison (Alkaline Trio, The Lawrence Arms) and Justin Yates.

The queen of pop is infuriated with M.I.A after giving the middle finger during her half time performance of new single ‘Gimme All Your Luvin’ with Nicki Minaj. Whilst singing the lyric ‘I don’t give a s**t’ M.I.A shamelessly raised her middle finger, upstaging Madonna and putting NBC under scrutiny as they were too late in censoring the image.

Madonna’s professionalism and perfectionism was evident in the incredibly choreographed and flawless performance but M.I.A‘s stunt was unseen in rehearsals.

Whether this was an act to seek attention or a spot of adrenaline kicking in, M.I.A has recently apologised for her antics. See the video below!

Gaga has recently unveiled to all her Little Monsters on Twitter the design of her stage set for her  forthcoming tour. The detailed sketch is of a castle dominating the stage, fit for a pop princess!

The gothic design cuts the floor crowd in half with a catwalk as Gaga explained to her fans on Twitter that “the central area within the stage will be known as ‘The Monster Pit.’ ‘The Monster Pit’ is General Admission only, and Little Monsters unlock it when they arrive to the arena or stadium. Entry to ‘The Monster Pit’ is relegated to the fans who have arrived first, waited all night, + dressed to ‘Ball.’ Every night Haus of Gaga will choose fans from ‘The Monster Pit’ to come back stage + meet me! These tickets are NOT more expensive.”

As if that wasn’t enough, she has decided to spread the Born This Way Ball world tour over two years, determined to smash U2′s record for the highest grossing and most attended tour with an astronomical 450 dates! GO GAGA!

‘Soldiers‘ features Ghetts & Ollie Green and will be released on March 26th. March is looking like a big month for Snakeyman as he will also be on the big screen again as part of ‘Payback Season‘ and later in the year part of Noel Clarke’s ‘The Knot‘.
