Actress Noomi Rapace has confirmed a script is being written for Prometheus 2.
Rapace, who played an explorer in search of the answers of the universe in last year’s ‘Prometheus‘ alongside Michael Fassbender, admitted; “They’re working on the script. I met Ridley in London a couple of weeks ago. I would love to work with him again and I know that he would like to do another one.”
Ridley Scott, who directed what is believed, by some, as the prequel to his classic 1979 ‘Alien‘, has left a lot of unanswered questions in the first installment which received many mixed reviews. (Including mine…)
But it looks like he might be replying to some of them, as Rapace also explained; “it’s just like we need to find the right story. I hope we will.” Yeah and so does the rest of the fan base love.
Anyway, both Rapace and Fassbender are believed to be coming back for the sequel (to the prequel) but the script’s writer is still staying under wraps. Last year Lost writer Damon Lindelof fulfilled this role yet revealed recently he will not be involved in the folow up. When questioned, Rapace didn’t give any hints either and just answered coyly; “You would have to ask someone at the studio about who the writer is…” Hmm, mystery.
