It’s been a thought on everyone’s mind sine the loss of Paul Gray, “what is going to happen to Slipknot?” Well, frontman Corey Taylor and percussionist/cofounder Shawn Crahan (clown), have announced they will be going to unveil a new production company at Sundance next week.
The film production will be called ‘Living Breathing Films’ and they plan on making films that fit the usual aesthetics of Slipknots typical visual.
Shawn Crahan told Rolling Stone: “Our movies are going to be psychological. They’re going to affect you. When The Exorcist came out people got up and left after 15 minutes and that turns us on. If I haven’t got someone to leave in five minutes for at least one of my films then I’m not doing my job.”
Taylor adds: “Right now we’ve got a story and we’re getting together a working script. We’re looking to basically break ground on it this year. We’re obviously going to make sure that it doesn’t conflict with the future Slipknot touring stuff. But it’s important for us to learn first before we just kind of jump in.”
