The greatest movie franchise of all time was ruined 13 years ago by the release of the above mentioned prequel. So can tagging on an extra dimension salvage this film?
Sadly no.
Although in parts the 3D does add something (mainly to the pod races) its not enough, it is what it is, George Lucas‘s failed attempt at generating a new generation of star wars fans and a massive kick in the teeth to the rest of us .
Anakin is still painfully annoying, Darth Maul is still cool and the dialogue is still unbelievably awful.
Put simply this film still blows. 3D or not!
