Orianthi Returns To UK With Alice Cooper

Platinum- selling solo artist and icoic guitarist Orianthi will return to the UK with Alice Cooper who is set to headline Cropredy Festival 2013. The event was launched by folk legends Fairport Convention back in 1980 and it is set to run from 8th-10th August this year with Alice Cooper topping the bill on the opening night.

Orianthi has been part of Alice’s live set up since August 2011 having completed two world tours with him but she is also working on solo material as well. She is currently gearing up for the release of his third studio album ‘Heaven In This Hell’ which was produced by Dave Stewart and will be released on 11th March 2013.

Orianthi said “I am so proud of this album because it really showcases my style of  riff heavy rock and energetic blues. The success of ‘BELIEVE’ helped to give me credibility and afforded me the freedom  to create the kind of album I have been wanting to make, with musicians I respect, playing together live in a studio, creatively exchanging ideas… the way I want all my records to be made. My friend, collaborator and producer, DAVE STEWART and I just jammed and hashed out a variety of songs and sounds until we found the grooves that inspired us.”
