Bring Me The Horizon’s very own Oli Sykes is set to swim 5km for the Marie Cure cancer fund.
The charity helps care for terminal cancer patients and other terminal illnesses.
The event will take place on the 27th-29th April, in a number of different pools around the country.
Oli says: “This is my first time taking part in the event, I’m going to attempt to swim 5km. I’ll probally die, so if that isn’t reason enough, do it for the awesome charity that the proceeds are going to: the Marie Curie cancer fund”.
Duncan Goodhew, Olympic gold medallist and Swimathon president says:“Swimathon provides motivation and a personal challenge to swimmers nationwide. It also offers a goal to train for, a target to achieve and a great cause to support“.
