When Steph HTF was in London last month to interview American metal band Periphery she bumped into Tesseract in the backstage area of Camden’s Underworld and managed to sit them down for an impromptu interview.
After gaining a large following, and a lot of shows through their Facebook account, Tesseract were recently signed to Century Media Records. With their debut album ‘One’ due for release in March, and a history with touring with Periphery in America the band teamed up with them once again on their recent UK tour and we managed to chat to lead vocalist Dan Tompkins and guitarist James Monteith about some hilarious tour stories, including when Dan got thrown out of his own gig, the new genre of Djent and much more.
